PRESSURE PUMP:
Used to test the lifespan of a cylinder used to create a fire extinguisher.
Cylinders will have instruction labels which indicates the pressure to used when pressure testing the cylinder of a fire extinguishers.
If the instruction label is damaged the technician should used the correct formula e.g. (1400 x 1,5 = 2100kpa).
Pressure must hold for 60 seconds without showing an visible damage to the cylinder, a report must be submitted to the clients (Internal and External).
The cylinder must not leak when tested for leakage (60 seconds under water)
